TES “SWITCH ON” UK POWER DIVISION

TES recently announced the opening of its UK Power Division which will focus on the HV and LV Switchgear Market.  The Power division which is based outside London is ideally located to respond to a demanding UK market.

With in-house expertise in the design and manufacture of Switchgear, TES have already gained an impressive track record in the industry.  Known primarily for the design and manufacture of water and wastewater facilities and electrical control systems, TES intend to add the switchgear division to its already extensive service offering.

As with all TES products, the Switchgear range will have full CE marking and fall under the scrutiny of the company’s ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Quality and Environmental Management procedures.  All design and build of the switchgear range will be undertaken at the company’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.  TES already have a track record in the delivery of high-value contracts throughout the UK for clients such as the Environment Agency and Scottish Water which are managed through the company’s Staffordshire division which opened in 2005.

TES offer an extensive range of products such as HV Equipment, Main LV Distribution switchgear, sub-distribution switchgear and PDU’s.  Bespoke solutions for specific problems are available or alternatively clients can choose from a range of adaptable modular systems to suit their specific requirements.  TES’ team of experts will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.

Commenting on the opening of the new UK switchgear division at St. Albans, Herts, Brian Taylor, TES Director said “We feel the UK market presents an excellent opportunity for our switchgear products.  The company has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of switchgear, however we feel opening another office in the UK will leave us well placed to effectively target this market”.
