In an effort to explore further business opportunities in the Middle East, TES Director Brian Taylor has taken part in a business Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia. The Trade Mission, will see Brian meet with potential business contacts within the water and wastewater treatment industry to discuss opportunities for the company.
Organised by Invest NI, the trade mission will allow TES to assess work opportunities in various regions throughout the Middle East and Saudi to include Al Khobar, Jeddah and Bahrain. It is the TES Director’s second visit to Saudi Arabia, having previously visited Riyadh and Jeddah earlier this year. The intense 9 day venture will see TES meet previous business correspondents to discuss current and future developments in the water and wastewater industry.
“With already established premises in Dubai, and the fact that we have already successfully completed a number of projects in Qatar, we feel the Saudi Market is one which offers much opportunity” said Brian, commenting on the Saudi Market.
Brian has learned that the water and wastewater treatment sectors are still relatively underdeveloped in Saudi and surrounding areas which presents immense opportunity for TES which is keen to explore further potential in the region. Brian also commented that “it is only through visiting the region and meeting with people who have in depth knowledge of the sector, that real work opportunities can be genuinely assessed.”
The Saudi Arabian visit comes as part of the company’s ambitious sales strategy which has set export targets to 74% of the company’s turnover.
